Symposium: Music and Meaning
27–28 January

A symposium exploring ways in which music and meaning intersect will take place 27-28 January 2003. The featured participants are Robert Hatten (Indiana University), Patrick McCreless (Yale University), and Jann Pasler (University of California at San Diego). Each of the speakers will deliver a public lecture on a topic related to his or her own research as well as to the general subject of music and meaning at 4 p.m. in the Recital Studio at the School of Music.
